Nowadays, everyone’s a spiritual medium.
It’s pretty easy for people to sell themselves as clairvoyant or mystic nowadays. More and more people are reaching out and developing a spiritual lifestyle. This is both a blessing and a curse.
On the one hand, it has led to people appreciating themselves, their lives, and other people more often. On the other hand, it’s led to a huge number of people selling themselves as a clairvoyant who might not actually be connected to anything other than their own inner thoughts (which isn’t a bad thing – it’s just false advertising!)
And what about you? How are you supposed to know if you have psychic skills, or if you’re destined to be a clairvoyant or a spiritual medium?
In this article, we’ll talk about some of the signs and symptoms of someone who might have latent psychic skills.
A Good Connection With Your Intuition
We all have intuition. It’s just that most people don’t listen to it. If there ever was a sixth sense, it was your intuition.
Everyone’s had a moment where they got a ‘gut feeling’ that they shouldn’t go somewhere, only to find out later that something disastrous happened. Or perhaps they felt a push to take a different route home, only to find out that they bumped into a friend they hadn’t seen in years on their new route.
Intuition is one of the basic psychic skills that we all possess. To someone who doesn’t understand their intuition, they might be convinced that someone who knows how to use theirs is omniscient!
Empathy
Empathy is another nonphysical skill that we all possess to different degrees.
Most of us are able to ‘read the room,’ and pick up the vibes of a situation when we first approach it. This is a combination of intuition and empathy, and it can be honed and developed like any other psychic skill. Empathy also allows you to communicate much more effectively with animals.
Insight
It can be hard to tell the difference between insight and a regular thought. However, practiced meditators will learn to tell the difference.
Insightful thoughts are crafted works based on compiling information from previous experiences and figuring out how to apply it. Insights themselves, however, arise spontaneously and are often unconnected to the thoughts a person’s having at the same time.
Intuition can also not be ‘forced,’ and can only be heard when a person’s mind is completely silent. The voice of insight is very quiet but incredibly powerful, and those who heed its guidance are well on the way to developing their spiritual skills.
Willpower
A solid understanding of willpower is important for anyone. To balance the duality of love (empathy) and Will creates harmony in your actions, words, and thoughts.
Without love, Will can be a dangerous force. Without Will, love isn’t able to be properly expressed. When used properly, Will is the force that allows us to create positive changes in the world.
