With the increasing amount of conflicts all around the world in recent times, a new World War seems to be just around the corner. A lot of predictions have been made regarding World War 3 by some of the greatest seers in the world, in recent times.
With the recent conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, and Iraq along with the emergence of terrible diseases, and shortage of various resources, global conflict seems be a very real future. After the two world wars which led to mass killings and so much destruction, no one would ever want to imagine another war like that – the Third World War. However, there are some who had predicted the third war, an even more horrifying and deadly one, a few hundred years ago. Some of the things seers like Nostradamus had predicted, have come true. Many years ago it was predicted that a major war would break out. The prediction said that the war would involve many countries leading to the end of the world as we know it.
Nostradamus’ Predictions about World War 3
Researchers claim that Nostradamus had foreseen the third World War. In his quatrains, he had written (and this is just the translation of what he had predicted) that there will be a war between USA and Western Europe and that Europe will suffer from a great economic loss. The third World War will probably start in the month of November and he also said that there might be a conflict between Britain and France. Nostradamus’ quatrains also state that “the sky will burn at five and forty degrees as fire approaches New York City.” The latitude of New York is around 45 degrees and the fire might result from a nuclear explosion. It is important to note that many predictions made by Nostradamus’ quatrains are ambiguous and may refer to other events.

Bible Verses About a Third World War
Although holy books such as the Bible and Quran do not specify a specific date for the events of a third World War, the verses of Revelation 6:2, 12:7, 17:14, 19:11, and many more, are warnings for the future war. Researchers on these scriptures believed that the year 2011 would see an upheaval between Middle East and the Northern African Muslim countries, i.e. a fight between the Extremists and the Moderates and the former would win.
The leaders of Iran and Iraq would have great control over the other Muslim nations. It was also believed that in the same year, extremists would attack New York City probably with a nuclear bomb, and although the city wouldn’t be completely destroyed, the effects would be major. This was to be the starting point of the Third World War.
Events of the Future War
It was also believed that these nations would then move onto Europe, maybe towards the end of the same year or beginning of 2012, and that the Pope would be captured and imprisoned somewhere in Iraq. Rome and the Vatican were to be captured and destroyed. In the following year, the Allies would take over Rome, and the war would pick up a different route, but not for long as the Muslim countries would take over Rome again. This war was supposed to go on till 2019, and till then the Arab countries are believed to progress with nuclear weapons and capture the whole of Europe, but they won’t progress beyond the equator in Africa. According to theories on the interpretation of the Quran, the holy book of Islam, there will be a complete annihilation of the Muslim countries and even the Bible is believed to predict that the Vatican city is going to end due to a major war brought on due to the Antichrist.
The predictions also state that the death toll will be even bigger than World War I and World War II, combined. Nearly one-third of the population will die and the rest will suffer. According to some of the predictions, India and China will not take part in this war. Hence, when almost all the countries will be destroyed, these two countries will be safe. The predictions also state that this war will bring an end to the development of science and when (and if) the fourth World War takes place, people will have to use trees and twigs as weapons.
These horrifying World War III predictions are sure to send a chill down your spine because who loves war, death and destruction? Many of these predictions have not come true so far, but the global political and military of the present is far from good. Who knows, these predictions might never come true. Or will they? Time will decide.
